Mūsu zeme Latvija – festive concert

November, the month of patriots, is here, and it’s time once again to get together and celebrate being Latvian!

We warmly invite you to the festive concert “Mūsu zeme Latvija” (Our Land, Latvia), celebrating Latvia’s birthday!

Admission by donation. We are grateful for your help in covering the costs of the event!

Let’s bring baskets of our favourite treats for a shared festive table, so we have the energy to party.

A bar with friendly prices will take care of drinks, so leave your own drinks at home – but don’t forget cash for donations, the bar and a little extra, because:

there will be a raffle! Every ticket wins! Prizes include useful things with a Latvian touch and fun surprises.

A children’s playroom gives the little ones a chance to enjoy exciting activities with children their own age.

At the book swap table, books can find new homes. Maybe a picture book will find its little reader here, and an adult will find a gripping story. Bring a book, take a book!

There will be other surprises too.

After the concert there will be a Latvian ball with music from the witty and cheerful Bavarian band “Burši” and the “Eslingenas Orķestris”, by now well known across the diaspora. Rumour has it their music gets even the chair legs moving.
